About the Twin Cities

Staff Opportunities

Consulting Radiologists, Ltd. is proud to offer a general radiology training opportunity to third and fourth year residents. The purpose of the CRL General Radiology Practicum is to provide exposure to the “real world” of community-based, full-service general practice radiology. We are offering this opportunity to radiology residents motivated to pursue a career in this type of practice environment.

We operate on a virtual practice model, where we effortlessly share cases and expertise throughout our network. While we have many solo practice locations, none of us is ever alone. We are always readily available and able to support each other using our CRL PACS network, email, instant messaging, telephone and video links.

At CRL, our general diagnostic radiologists are as critical to our patient care efforts as our sub-specialists. We are always actively recruiting radiologists with and without fellowship training to practice in our uniquely satisfying and professionally rewarding program.

We know your time away from your training program is valuable. Our practicum program pays for all transportation and lodging expenses, plus provides a daily stipend. We request that you spend 3-5 days with us. You will work along side our radiologists in a collegial setting, reviewing cases, observing procedures, participating in diagnostic and consultative activities, and obtaining first-hand experience of what our full-service general practice opportunities are all about. You will not actually dictate cases or perform procedures, obviating the need for licensure or credentialing.

The successful applicant will have a strong interest in practicing high quality general radiology in a community of 5,000 to 25,000 people. A letter of reference from your program director is requested. Qualified applicants will not have already accepted a permanent practice offer.

For additional information on this program and the current available opportunities at Consulting Radiologists, Ltd., please contact CRL’s Director, Physician Recruiting.
