Osteoporosis is a pervasive national health threat. According to the National Osteoporosis Foundation, one in two females, and one in four males will suffer a fracture due to this disease. Bone density testing is the only means to predict a patient’s chance of breaking a bone due to osteoporosis. The testing procedure is quick, painless and non-invasive.
