Drain Catheters for Palliation

Painful fluid buildup can occur when tumors obstruct the normal flow of the urine or bile. This fluid build-up can result in infection and organ failure if left untreated. Interventional radiologists can insert catheters using imaging guidance to drain the fluid build-up and relieve pain in the affected areas.
