Musculoskeletal Radiologist in Minneapolis, On-Site, 100% or Hybrid

Consulting Radiologists, Ltd. (CRL) is an independent physician-owned and physician-led practice that has been serving patients and providers throughout the Upper Midwest for 90 years. Due to an increasing volume of work and increased coverage needs, we are looking to hire additional MSK subspecialty trained radiologists. Both 100% MSK and hybrid MSK/general diagnostic positions will be considered. Both positions will allow the radiologist to work at our largest quaternary care hospital, Abbott Northwestern, and its suburban affiliate West Health and an additional suburban outpatient clinic.

Our 100% MSK subspecialty position is an excellent and unique opportunity for experienced or recent MSK fellowship graduates. This position focuses primarily on interpretation of MSK MR, MSK CT, occasional MSK US, and plain films from our orthopedic, sports medicine and rheumatology colleagues. Procedures include injections using fluoroscopic and US guidance, and arthrograms under fluoroscopic guidance.

CRL’s flexible scheduling structure allows for the optional opportunity to also work body imaging, general diagnostic radiology, emergency radiology and teleradiology shifts, if desired. No mammography required.

CRL’s hybrid MSK/general diagnostic position can be customized and tailored to fit a candidate’s preferences. The radiologists will rotate through our dedicated MSK subspecialty slots with similar responsibilities as detailed above. Additionally, the radiologist looking to maintain and keep their general diagnostic radiology skills sharp will benefit by also covering general diagnostic shifts at our metro or regional sites. In this arena, expectations include general body imaging including CT, US and plain film intepretation.

The ideal candidate will be adept at or willing to learn basic body imaging procedures. Mammography skills are not required but preferred. Additional opportunities to work body imaging, general diagnostic radiology, emergency radiology and teleradiology shifts, will also be available if desired.
