Manager, Insurance & Payment Posting

Consulting Radiologists, Ltd. is seeking a Manager, Insurance & Payment Posting to effectively manage the operations and staff of the Insurance and Payment Posting Team, ensuring appropriate, efficient and effective processes are utilized and maintained in the assigned areas of the revenue cycle (Radiology/Health Care focus).


  • Supervises the day-to-day operations of assigned areas of the revenue cycle; and provides leadership and direction including hiring, training, coaching, performance reviews and terminations.
  • Effectively manages both onsite and remote staff and processes, to ensure productivity and quality are meeting goals by continually monitoring accounts receivable and using reporting mechanisms and analytics.
  • Ensures efficient processes for prompt and accurate payment from contracted insurances, including follow-up processes for denied claims and efficient payment posting processes.
  • Maintains a positive, engaging, and inclusive work environment by ensuring employees are held accountable and take personal responsibility for their daily activities, performance and behavior, including respectful communication with company members and customers.
  • Provides input to the Director regarding procedural issues experienced within areas of responsibilities.
  • Assists Accounting Department with banking processes.
  • Collaborates with other CRL leaders and assists CRL staff with insurance inquiries and any training issues related to insurance.
  • Performs various aspects of the assigned areas as necessary to ensure a complete understanding of all work performed, and cross covers as needed.
  • Participates in formulating, documenting, and implementing policies and procedures for all assigned departments and updates as necessary.
  • Demonstrates the highest level of customer service in all forms of communication (e.g. face-to-face, verbal, email, etc.) with patients, CRL staff and physicians, and with external customers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Director or other appropriate administrator.


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Healthcare Management or Administration or related area preferred; or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years Healthcare billing experience preferably in radiology.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Revenue Cycle Management.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Healthcare management
  • Ability to successfully manage and build high-performing teams and develop/mentor staff.
  • Experience with RCM and/or AR analytics
  • Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality with regards to all aspects of CRL business operations, physicians, employees, patients, and customers.
  • Ability to communicate in English, professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Frequent speaking in English, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands / fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, extended periods working at a computer.
