Consulting Radiologists, Ltd. Welcomes Kevin Duce as Chief Administrative Officer
We’re excited to announce a significant new addition to the CRL leadership team: Kevin Duce has joined Consulting Radiologists, Ltd. as our new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). Mr. Duce brings more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience focused on innovation, strategic planning, integration and alignment, and operational assessments to drive improved performance across medical groups and health systems.
In his new role, Mr. Duce will support CRL’s continued growth, enhance operational excellence, and foster a culture where providers and staff can thrive while delivering accurate, timely, and patient-focused care. His appointment comes as the organization continues to expand its footprint and advance its position at the forefront of diagnostic innovation.
A Proven Leader in Healthcare Innovation
“Kevin’s extensive background in healthcare strategy and operations makes him an ideal fit for CRL as we continue to evolve and grow,” said Dr. Norman Arslanlar, President, Consulting Radiologists, Ltd. “His proven track record of helping healthcare organizations navigate complex challenges and drive performance improvements will be invaluable as we build on our nearly century-long legacy of excellence.”
Prior to joining Consulting Radiologists, Ltd., Mr. Duce served as a Client Engagement leader at AVIA Health, where he partnered with AVIA’s health system members to drive value by enabling digital capabilities that support strategic organizational goals. Before AVIA, he was an Associate Principal with ECG Management Consultants’ Strategy Practice, working with leading healthcare providers on engagements focused on strategic planning, group formation and operational assessments, and hospital/physician alignment.
Mr. Duce holds Master’s degrees in Healthcare and Business Administration from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from St. Olaf College.
Honoring Our Legacy, Shaping Our Future
“When a medical practice has nearly a century of history, it speaks to a culture of excellence, adaptability, and purpose,” said Mr. Duce. “I’m honored to join Consulting Radiologists, Ltd. as Chief Administrative Officer and to become part of an organization whose origin dates back to 1929 — when Drs. Robert Allison and Malcolm Hanson helped pioneer radiology in the Twin Cities.”
Mr. Duce continued, “Since then, CRL has grown into a respected regional leader in diagnostic imaging, known for clinical expertise, collaborative care, and commitment to innovation. What remains constant is a strong foundation built on the leadership and values instilled by its founding physicians. As CAO, I’m excited to support CRL’s continued growth, enhance operational excellence, and foster a culture where providers and staff can thrive — all in service of delivering accurate, timely, and patient-focused care.”
“In an era of rapid technological advancement and evolving healthcare needs, I’m particularly energized by the opportunity to help position CRL at the forefront of diagnostic innovation while preserving the personalized, high-quality care that has defined our practice for generations,” Mr. Duce added. “I look forward to working alongside our outstanding team and partners as we honor this legacy and continue moving the field of radiology forward.”
