Biography

Dr. Jiewen Li is a fellowship-trained neuroradiologist with specialized expertise in advanced imaging of the brain, spine, head, and neck. Dr. Li completed a Neuroradiology Fellowship at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, following a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the University of Cincinnati and a Transitional Year Residency at Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio. Dr. Li earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Li is passionate about the analytical and problem-solving aspects of radiology and values the opportunity to provide answers that help guide patient care. Drawn to medicine because it sits at the intersection of science, humanity, and leadership, Dr. Li is committed to delivering accurate, timely interpretations that support patients and referring providers alike.

A strong advocate for lifelong learning, Dr. Li enjoys the constant intellectual challenge of medicine and strives to continuously expand expertise within the field of radiology. Teaching and mentorship are also important professional interests, with aspirations to again work with medical students and residents in the future.

Dedicated to ongoing professional growth and collaboration within the radiology community, Dr. Li remains engaged in organizations that promote education, innovation, and high-quality patient care. Fluent in both English and Chinese, Dr. Li values the opportunity to connect with patients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

Outside of work, Dr. Li enjoys traveling to experience new cultures and cuisines, trying new restaurants, discovering new shows, and attending local events. Dr. Li is passionate about diversity and believes that embracing a variety of perspectives fosters creativity, innovation, and better problem-solving.
