Dr. Arthie Jeyakumar, originally from Millstone, NJ, specializes in vascular and interventional radiology. Dr. Jeyakumar earned her medical degree with a distinction in research from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY.
She then moved to Seattle, WA, for a general surgery internship at the Swedish Medical Center. At the University of Washington, Dr. Jeyakumar completed an integrated diagnostic and interventional radiology residency, where she was elected Interventional Radiology Chief Resident and later recognized with the Christopher R. Ingraham Leadership Award.
When asked what she enjoys most about her job, Dr. Jeyakumar responded, “I am passionate about utilizing my knowledge and skillset to provide timely and efficient care while advocating for my patient’s needs.”
Professionally, she is interested in women’s health, venous disease, and quality improvement.
Dr. Jeyakumar also speaks Tamil, a language native to Sri Lanka. Outside work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
