CRL takes on Hope in Motion 5k

ST PAUL, June 6, 2016 — Hundreds lined Lake Phalen yesterday as the 2016 annual Hope in Motion 5k commenced. Hope in Motion is Minnesota’s National Cancer Survivors Day, presented by Minnesota Oncology.

Dr. Kevin Edelman, MD, one of CRL’s breast imaging radiologist worked the CRL booth in the early morning where participants were able to get free swag, and ask Dr. Edelman any questions the had in regards to CRL’s latest technology, 3D Mammography™ also known as Digital Breast Tomosynthesis by Hologic.

Consulting Radiologists, Ltd. (CRL) put a team together for the 5k, along with a sponsorship for the event.

“I am proud to have supported the celebration of National Cancer Survivors Day with my coworkers, Team CRL at the Hope in Motion 5k,”  stated Sonja Oberg, Lead Clinic Support for CRL.  “This  event had personal meaning to me and my family as Cancer has impacted my life tremendously.  I lost my grandfather and two of my aunts to cancer.  More recently, my mother battled cancer and I can thankfully say she is a Survivor.”

The event was lined with inspirational messages from survivors and their families.  The proceeds support the Angel Foundation, who provide emergency financial assistance, education and support to local families and adults affected by cancer.
