Dr. Vinit Amin

Vinit Amin, MD

Dr. Vinit “Vin” Amin is originally from Bismarck, North Dakota and received his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at the prestigious Lenox Hill Hospital located in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, New York, NY and his radiology residency and fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Amin is also a registered physician by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, specializing in Vascular Interpretation.

When asked what he enjoys most about his job, Dr. Amin replied, “I enjoy the challenging clinical aspects of taking care of patients, as well as the ability to have a meaningful impact on improving peoples’ lives through a myriad of minimally invasive techniques.”

Dr. Bjorn Engstrom Vascular & Interventional Radiology

Bjorn Engstrom, MD

Dr. Bjorn Engstrom, joins CRL with a specialization in Vascular & Interventional Radiology. He received his medical degree from the Dartmouth Medical School in Lebanon, NH. Dr. Engstrom completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA and his residency and fellowship in Vascular & Interventional Radiology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC.

When he is not working, Dr. Engstrom spends time playing with his children. He and his family enjoy staying active in sports and the outdoors, as well as discovering museums, restaurants and other diversions the city has to offer.

Dr. Thomas A. Gebhard, Vascular & Interventional Radiology

Thomas Gebhard, MD

Dr. Thomas Gebhard specializes in Vascular & Interventional Radiology. After medical school at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, Dr. Gebhard completed his internship at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital in Houston, TX. He went on to complete his residency in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship in Vascular & Interventional Radiology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC.

When asked what aspect of his job he enjoys most Dr. Gebhard replied “minimally invasive cancer therapy.”

Outside of work Dr. Gebhard is an avid football and basketball fan. He also enjoys running, hiking, camping and spending time with family.

Megan Davitt, APRN CNP

Meghan Davitt, APRN, CNP

Vascular & Interventional Radiology Nurse Practitioner

Meghan Davitt, APRN, CNP is a part of CRL’s Vascular & Interventional Radiology team. She competed her Bachelor’s in Nursing at St. Catherine University in St. Paul, MN where she also completed her Master’s in Nursing with an Adult Gerontological focus in 2012 . She is a certified Adult Gerontological Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse. She is also certified in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support.

She has received recognition for her innovations in Nursing in 2009 by winning First Place in the category of Innovation at the American Medical-Surgical Nursing Conference held in Washington, D.C. and was declared Nurse Researcher of the Year by the Minnesota Nurses Association that same year.

When asked what enjoys most in her position Davitt replied, “I am most passionate about providing current, compassionate care with a focus on patient and family education.”
