A proud Philadelphia native, Dr. Naids earned his medical degree from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in his hometown. He completed his internal medicine internship at Temple University Hospital before pursuing his radiology residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York. Driven by a commitment to subspecialized expertise, Dr. Naids went on to complete a competitive fellowship in breast and body imaging at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York, where he honed his skills in advanced imaging techniques and diagnostic interpretation.
Growing up in a family of physicians—his mother also practiced radiology—Dr. Naids developed an early appreciation for the impact radiologists have on patient care. This foundation, combined with his rigorous training, has shaped his approach to providing specialized care to everyone in every setting.

When he’s not reading imaging studies, Dr. Naids can be found on the golf course (he jokes that in his dreams, he’d be a pro golfer), playing in basketball leagues, or traveling with his family. He is fluent in Spanish and values staying connected to diverse communities.
