Biography

Justin Bauer, MD, is an Emergency/Teleradiologist at Consulting Radiologists, Ltd. He has a diverse educational background spanning the sciences, humanities, and medicine.

After completing his undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College, where he earned degrees in Biophysical Chemistry and Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, Dr. Bauer completed his medical training at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. Following medical school, he completed an internship in internal medicine at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center.
He completed a radiology residency at Stanford University School of Medicine, where he also completed his fellowship training in musculoskeletal radiology. This subspecialty expertise allows him to provide detailed interpretations of imaging studies involving muscles, bones, joints, and soft tissues.

Dr. Bauer has a passion for merging clinical insight with innovative technology to deliver exceptional patient care. “I enjoy using technology to solve complex problems that have a direct positive impact on patients,” he says. This drive for continuous improvement is a hallmark of his practice philosophy grounded in collaboration.
Beyond radiology, Dr. Bauer cultivates interests in reading, writing, studying Chinese, cooking, and playing piano. He is also passionate about Chinese language and culture, having studied Mandarin Chinese at Beijing Normal University through Dartmouth’s Foreign Studies Program. Dr. Bauer later attended Tsinghua University’s Inter-University Program, funded by the Dartmouth Reynolds Scholarship, to further advance his Chinese proficiency.

Dr. Bauer’s unique cross-cultural experiences, coupled with his commitment to lifelong learning, empower him to provide radiology services tailored to each patient’s needs. His well-rounded expertise makes him a valuable asset to the Emergency/Teleradiology team at Consulting Radiologists, Ltd.
