Dr. John Steely specializes in Diagnostic Neuroradiology and joined Consulting Radiologists, Ltd. after completing a fellowship at the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis. He received his undergraduate degree from Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska and his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He then completed an internship at St. Paul Ramsey Medical Center through the University of Minnesota Hospital in St. Paul, and a residency in Radiology at the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis. Dr. Steely has a background in education, having served as Clinical Instructor at both the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis and Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.

When asked what he likes most about his job, Dr. Steely replied, “I enjoy the challenge of exceeding our clinician partners’ expectations for service while meeting the medical needs of our patients.” When not working, he enjoys golfing, gardening, automotive sports and reading.
