Dr. Brenda Hyde,  Body Imaging and Diagnostic Radiologist, earned her medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine after receiving her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California in San Diego. She completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship in Gastrointestinal & Genitourinary Imaging at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.

What Dr. Hyde enjoys most about diagnostic radiology is the constant challenge of solving an imaging puzzle that can significantly contribute to a patient’s medical care and the personal interaction she has with patients when performing procedures.

When not at work, you will find Dr. Hyde spending time with her family, painting, traveling, and trying new cuisines.

PRACTICE PHILOSOPHY

Dr. Hyde enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team with radiology nurses and imaging technologists. She also values the meaningful interaction with ordering providers when communicating results, answering study-related questions, and helping to determine the best type of study for a patient.
